- Maintain and operate your appliances correctly

- Adjust your cylinder thermostat to no higher than 60°C/140°.
- Purchase energy efficient appliances
- Use energy efficient light bulbs
- Insulate your loft
- Invest in cavity wall insulation
- Insulate hot water tanks and pipes
- Install double glazing
- Draft proof windows and doors
- Switch to a ‘Green Power’ supplier
Transport
- Walk, cycle, use car sharing or use public transport
- Work from home - use tele-working (Internet etc)
